The Ultipulse UP3245 is a high-end OTDR designed for advanced testing of single-mode optical fibers at 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths. With its exceptionally high dynamic range (45/43 dB), it is ideally suited for long-distance links, dense backbone networks, and complex FTTx environments where precision and clarity are essential.
Like all models in the UP32xx series, the UP3245 combines cutting-edge measurement performance with maximum ease of use. Its intuitive interface and 7” TFT touchscreen make it highly accessible to both experienced engineers and less experienced users in the field.
In Auto Mode, the device automatically selects optimal testing parameters and evaluates fiber performance using pass/fail criteria. This allows technicians to work faster and with greater confidence, knowing the device will provide consistent, repeatable results.
The UP3245 can generate PDF test reports directly on the device without any external software. This feature enables field teams to deliver complete documentation instantly, increasing workflow efficiency.
The built-in graphical event map provides a visual overview of the fiber link, clearly identifying issues such as splices, breaks, and reflections. Combined with the traditional OTDR trace view, it greatly simplifies troubleshooting and reporting.
